Planet Cracker

Planet Cracker is a third person adventure game where the player plays as an astronaut, traverses different worlds and destroys planets. For this game project, I was the Lead UI Designer where I coordinated with a group of 22 people. Throughout the game jam, I established working animated menus where the consumer can access settings, audio and screen resolution within the game.

Responsibility:

- Create finalized Pause menu and sliding animations within a month.
- Assisted other UI Designer with creation of Main Menu.
- All UI systems are hooked up, functional and accessible.

Tools:

- Unreal Engine 5.1.
- Google Docs.
- Github.

Research Summary:

Planet Cracker was a creation during a “game jam” with 21 other people working on a project within a month. For this project, I was assigned Lead UI Designer and manage all UI systems along with another UI Designer. Drawing mockups and diagrams of potential finalized UI Design helped us the most in delivering our UI systems efficiently and on-time.
